Scalia, Denied High Court Leadership Post, Settles for Leading NYC Columbus Day Parade
Haven't we been through enough? And I'm sure Ghouliani will be flitting around as well. Glad I'm staying below 14th Street all day.

As an Italian-American like Scalia, (1) he creeps the shit out of me and (2) if I saw a statue of Columbus I would personally try to knock it over.

Ha ha! Agi - I had no idea you were Italian-American. I'm Irish-American, and I feel likewise about Bill O'Reilly... then again, I probably would not only knock over Bill O'Reilly, I'd STOMP on him, too (with spiked cleats. I don't own any, but I would buy them for the occasion).
Yeah, Scalia's f'in scary alright. And, maybe I'm alone in this, but somehow being in a parade seems woefully pathetic to me. It smacks of "Puppet Show + Spinal Tap," y'know? Can't explain it, just a feeling.

O'Reilly is right up here in NYC as far as I know - HelenW, I'll tell you where to hide out on the Upper East Side to catch him getting into his limo - then, STOMP AWAY. You'll have to buy those cleats you've been eyeing ...
