Just wonderful. I recently checked all the goodies in my medicine cabinet to see where they had been manufactured. With one exception (Tom's of Maine toothpaste), it was impossible to know. There was no country-of-origin labelling on any of the products that I sprayed, sniffed, squirted, gargled, or otherwise ingested on a more than daily basis.

My rule of thumb is this: If the packaging states only that it is "Distributed by (major US company)," then it's safe to assume that it is not produced in the US by said major US company. I won't buy and I won't use it.

Or a hair remover by night and anti-freeze/cough syrup by day!

Thriftiness! I for one applaud this! Look at the advantages; if the stuff you eat kills you, you are highly unlikely to need any embalming due to the chemicals you ingested in your last meal. $aving$ for your family!

I'm with Grace: if it's not produced in the U.S., I'm unlikely to consume it. Other than scrubbing and washing produce from far flung ports, and hoping that somehow the water they have uptaken into their flesh is somehow detoxified by some special internal fruit scrubbers. . .

Perhaps the Chinese could stick on a warning, "These vitamins were produced on machines that manufacture carcinogenic items. If you consume these supplements, you will possibly offset the effects of the aforementioned contaminants. . "

Many of the aforementioned contaminants are leaving office.
