President Obama lifted the restrictions on stem-cell research yesterday. But suppose Preznit Bunnypants hadn’t put them in place to begin with?
Sure, we know about the dead in Iraq - the people, the soldiers - and we know about what happened in New Orleans. But how many people would be alive today if Bush hadn’t put his religion before the rest of us? How many people would be walking instead of in wheelchairs had science not been hobbled for the past eight years? How many people would be enjoying their lives instead of suffering? We’ll never know.

The persistence of the medievalism called religion is an abomination. A gift that keeps on giving in terms of stunting minds and providing fodder for endless wars.
We will not progress until we can put quaint fairy tales behind us (and I'm not speaking literally, Mssrs. Craig and "100% Not Gay" minister Haggard.)

To answer your question---some we know personally and loved dearly. I hope there is a hell for that SOB to find as a just reward for his 'religion' of death and suffering!
