Dispatches from Gilead
Last year I created a collage of photos and newspaper clippings. I bound the pages in a large book and continue to add new entries when I can.
This time-capsule began as a way to document the social-political turmoil of Bush World. In my view, our society is at the beginning of a downfall. I am not sure how far down we will go, but I am prepared for the worst. This time-capsule will serve to document the commencement of our dissension into the gaping mouth of hell.
I have digitally scanned some pages from my book and present them here for your viewing. Please click on the images to get a larger view.
Exposition: America's Slumber Uninterrupted
Fear and Loathing at the Republican National Convention
The Second of November Seals the Fate of the World
War, Intelligence and the Demise of Reality
Stay tuned. There is more to come in this series . . .

The collages look great, nice work. Sort of reminds me of the way the Daily Show folks take bits from the visual media to put together a truer story in parody than what is presented by the media.
In solidarity,
RiR

You're a very brave man...Every now and then I ask myself: I gave up drugs and alcohol for this?
Haven't forgotten about the Book-Meme...my brain is just overtaxed with reality.

Here's the thing m'friends. Read the artical entitled '3 negative views of Americans'. It's a bit small for me to make out the body, but Take it from me, you do not help yourself. For your own sakes, put your guns up, nominate a real candidate for the UN and stop shooting A-Rabs. We'll even let you keep your god if you do those things...
Actualy, in all serriousnes, how a nation can go from the most popular and silver looking to the current state of in which you find yourself, in as little as 50 years is worth thought. I cannot imagine it is merely better media reporting faults which always existed.
I fear we must conclude that America's reputation has suffered because, unfortunately, Americans have become worse.
I don't like saying it, but then, I don't suppose Agitprop liked saying his sosiety was at the beggining of a downfall, I think we are both right though.
