Delurking Day
Thanks to Lauren, I've learned that today is Delurking Day! I know it's a bit late to begin celebrating, but I figure, what the hell. Creek Running North explains:
Who are these readers? What are their lives like? Do they like my writing, or do they show up regularly to see what new horrors I've unleashed on the world? Do they think I'm a bad person because of my kitchen? Are they here for the politics, the poetry, or the pictures of Zeke? If you're one of those as-yet-unanounced regular readers, of course, you don't have to answer these questions. I'm just glad you're there.
Maybe you readers prefer pictures of Cairo to my daily bloviations on the state of Bushworld. Or maybe you visit just to see my half-assed attempts at photo-shopping?
Please delurk yourself. You will be rewarded for your valor.

I'm a non-lurker, but I'm lovin' every minute I spend at your 'zine, Agi!
Always a good job brother. :)

I find your photoshopping quite impressive (still haven't recovered from Osama on Bush), and I love those cute puppy pics too. Good work!

It's all good, but the photoshopping is great

It's all good. I show up mostly for the politics, but must admit the photoshopping is great

lurker: A visitor to an online discussion who reads other people's postings but does not contribute.Lurking is a good way for a beginner to get familiar with a newsgroup or forum.

hey agi t. i'm a reg'lar lurkin' gal but i have to admit after the republican porn photoshop i had to make sure there's no one else in the office before checking your site - and that i had no coffee, soda, or otherwise snortable substances anywhere i could do myself harm.
my coworkers are very curious ladies and when they hear me giggling madly in my corner they like to see what funny email i got that day. i don't think they'd appreciate the jokes. they certainly don't ever seem to like MINE.
one of your graphics reminded me to ask my darling husband if he'd ever seen dr. strangelove - he hadn't, so we netflixed it and very much enjoyed the viewing.
plus i've almost got up the nerve to do some reshelving. working up to it. i'm just not sure anyone in my immediate 20-mile radius would get the joke - although it might be better if they just picked it up and read 1984, for starters.
sheesh. i'll do just about ANYthing to avoid work, won't i?

oh and of course the name of the blog - the dr s reference. did i mention i'm perpetually sleep-deprived? it's how i justify my stupidity and typos. i'm not sure what excuse chimpy has. perpetual DTs?

You're a daily read; sometimes multi-daily read. Keep up the great work.

I haven't commented in a while, so I think I've devolved back to lurker status. Story of my fucking life.

Agi, not been lurking...but today I am...always a pleasure to read what you put forth, whether it be sad, funny or truth.

Hey. I'm here for the bloviations. Not sure what the kitchen has to do with anything.
