Why Is This "Fashion God" Still Under Contract To FEMA?
[via The Smoking Gun] On August 29th, as Katrina was striking the Gulf Coast, Brown responded to a compliment on a TV appearance by stating, "I got it at Nordstroms...Are you proud of me? Can I quit now? Can I go home?" An hour later, Brown wrote about his government-issued wardrobe: "If you'll look at my lovely FEMA attire you'll really vomit. I am a fashion god."
Read the emails at The Smoking Gun.
CNN actually picked this up. Pam's House Blend has more.
Because when I think disaster assistance I think "let me get my best gear out of the closet so I look good."

Can't a hurricane strike him? Something? I can't take much more ...

How in the name of all that is holy can anybody, anybody at all still say they support that idiot in the White House is beyond comprehension. He, after all, appointed this fuckwit. And he is responsible for the asshole still being on the payroll.

Fuckwit Brownie ... I like that.

Having watched the whole nine yards with "Brownie" So many parrallels with Dubya seem apparent, I think they both buy their bubbles at the same store, that apart I think Browns reaction was that which would be found in a small boy. I think the magnitude of the dissaster flipped him into denial and subsiquent inafectuallity. This was the result of not being up to the task in the first place.
Here again we see the parrallel with Bush, the difference being that Bush was cocooned by those around him in the White House. Bush of course not having the intellect to run the country, left it to those around him.
I think Dubya, under the verneer, is a very frightened little boy. The fallout with Cheney, and the prospect of loosing Rove, will be compounding Bush's insecurity.
So what's left for the leader? perhaps suckling Condi's breast as she strokes his head in reassurance.

I loved the email that was sent to Brownie telling him to roll up his sleeves "at least to the elbow" like the President did. These people are far more concerned about appearances than results -- but I guess we already knew that.

I wonder which Nordstrom? Pentagon City or Tyson's Corner? Geez, what a shallow excuse for a human being.

Oh, I so did NOT need that mental image. LOL
Still, what pisses me off is here's this fuckwit Drownie still pulling down $100+k a year for being an absolute, total complete failure in his "job" (whatever that is) and I can barely afford to pay my cell phone bill. I wonder if they've minted him his Medal of Freedom yet? Pffft.

$145k to be precise, Can't they just send him to fucking Halliburton and be done with it?
And that picture - I'm going to post it again for a "Caption This" - he deserves it.

OK - "Caption This" for Brownie is up. Hit him hard.

D.
Not a pretty image I must admit, I was going to say a few words to that effect at the end of the post, but it was obvious that anybody reading "suckle Condi's breast"
was instantly going to be transported to the set of a bad horror movie. It,s a real shiver job.
And why is brown still employed?
Over here the saying is it's just,
"Jobs for the boys"

If it was still Halloween and I lived on his block I would help teach my son the Burning Dog Shit Bag and I would hope and pray that Brownie would have his guccis and Nordys and that his sleaves were rolled up....and I would even have to go to the Trouble of acquiring some Arabian Turds- just for Brownie....( Sorry But I look at him and think of NOLA and I see red...) Hmm, I think I will write the UN again, and this time I will print off this shithead's emails-they are friggin' Priceless.
( and yes, I filed a report and even called Switzerland and England during Katrina...I was PISSED off... and just for the record there is NO way I would ever live near this scumbag)

Oh yes. I was SO relishing this and wanted to post on it, but I thought I wouldn't be able to do it justice. It's such a shameless example of arrogance, incompetence, and lack of compassion!
"Fashion God" indeed. He looks like any white man from Suburbia. Pfft.

Sounds like he's really lost his grip.
Let's keep him talking -- maybe he'll let something useful slip.
