Reichsmarshal Rumsfeld Has Made $1 Million From Tamiflu So Far
Rummy has made a ton of money from his holdings in Gilead Sciences, which owns the rights to the bird-flu drug Tamiflu. There is other Repug involvement:
Rumsfeld isn't the only political heavyweight benefiting from demand for Tamiflu, which is manufactured and marketed by Swiss pharma giant Roche. (Gilead receives a royalty from Roche equaling about 10% of sales.) Former Secretary of State George Shultz, who is on Gilead's board, has sold more than $7 million worth of Gilead since the beginning of 2005. Another board member is the wife of former California Gov. Pete Wilson.
So, when there is a selection as to who gets the drug, we wonder who will be first in line ...?

Laughin' his foolself alllll the way to the bank. Of course, now that corruption seems to be acceptable in this country, I guess nothign will be done and it definitely won't be reported in the MSM.

What happens when the avian flu pandemic occurs?...
They'll take 10 Republican men per every one Republican woman. They'll stick 'em in a cave and provide ample amounts of Tamiflu.
Monogamy will fall to the wayside as the good Christian men help re-populate the Republican species. Meanwhile, the rest of the Earth's population will die from avian flu.

My name is Maura Logan and i would like to show you my personal experience with Tamiflu.
I am 63 years old. Have been on Tamiflu for 5 days now. Formerly had no negative feelings about "Big Pharmaceutical" but this medication has changed my mind. Definitely needed more extensive testing by the FDA.
I have experienced some of these side effects-
Horrible itching started after 8 pills (fourth day) and has lasted for six more days--and counting. Also suffering insomnia, and mood swings--crying and sour temper. Dr. wasn't even sure I had the flu (headache, severe body ache, exhaustion but no cold symptoms). Med seemed to help, but the after-effects are totally miserable. Hugely expensive med and not worth the risk. Absolutely HATE, HATE, HATE this medication!
I hope this information will be useful to others,
Maura Logan
