In other words, treat the criminal the way he treated his victims... Sure.
Studies show that fast executions deter capital crimes, but you're thinking, "we could just love the criminal until he is rehabilitated". Let the love flow buddy, even to Schwartzenegger and maybe he'll see it your way.
