Isn’t is cute when they act like it’s their country (and their oil)?
BAGHDAD — Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al Maliki raised the possibility that his country won’t sign a status of forces agreement with the United States and will ask U.S. troops to go home when their U.N. mandate to be in Iraq expires at the end of the year.
Maliki made the comment after weeks of complaints from Shiite Muslim lawmakers that U.S. proposals that would govern a continued troop presence in Iraq would infringe on Iraq’s sovereignty.
Silly Prime Minister! Careful what you say, or Uncle Dick will shoot you in the face.
Did you hear that we’re in charge of Britain’s army now too?
This week, media reports indicated that British Prime Minister Gordon Brown will soon announce a final timetable for the withdrawal of Britain’s remaining 4,000 troops from southern Iraq by the end of the year. In an interview with the Observer, President Bush, who arrives in London tomorrow, issued a “stern” warning to Brown urging him not to “announce a timetable for a British pull-out from Iraq.”
Another silly Prime Minister! Sorry Gordon - Tony Blair signed your ass over to us when he agreed to get involved in the Boy King’s war.
Tinfoil hat extra: you heard it here first Cynics … my guess is that Bush and Cheney pull something to try and cling to power. They’ve spent so much effort piling up that power - do you think they’ll give it up so easily? Do you think they won’t use it?
That possibility scares me so much I just try not to think about it.

The AUDACITY! You'd think they were not grateful for our gate-crashing and our "Me and Dupree"-like occupation, SOFA or not.

Hm.
Why do I hear a dialogue between Bush and Cheney here?
"What do you want to do tomorrow night, Brain?"
"Same thing we do every night, Mr President...try to take over the world!"
