As a lefty blogger, I will miss him. Sure he’s a dangerous sociopath, a pathological liar, and a national embarrassment. But he’s also The Decider, The Commander Guy, and Commander Codpiece. Think about that as January 20, 2009 approaches. When, I ask you, have liberals had it so good?
Of course we’ll still have the likes of Sarah Palin, Mittens, and the comically stupid James Inhofe to smack around, but it’s hard for me to imagine life without Dubya. And yes, I’ve seen this:
Seventy-five percent of those questioned in a new CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Friday say they’re glad President Bush is going, with 23 percent indicating they’ll miss him.
But I’ve also seen this:
We will never see his like again.
As nature abhors a vacuum, I'm sure there are several prominent Republicans ready to fill the void left behind by Bush and Cheney.

I just realized something about the Bush-in-China-and-Stumped-by-a-Locked-Door photo: For once, Dubya actually was wearing a decent looking, well tailored suit.
No, I will not miss Bush. When it's over, it's over and I never look back. I never missed LBJ, or Nixon, or Reagan, or Poppy Bush. It's been a long 8 years, and the second 4 years were even longer than the first 4 years.

"As nature abhors a vacuum" So do we. Bush was a vacuum.

I thought the tap dance he did while waiting for McCain was far more indicative of both his term and the basic lack of respect the entire nation had for him.
Imagine...the candidate for the party he presumably LEADS showed up late and left him dangling in the wind. His only resort was to put on a show???? I would have called McCain and told him where he coudl stick his limo.
