And No, This is Not an April Fool's Joke
Bears in New Jersey, alligators in the backyard, and rampaging pit bulls not enough for you? Some clowns in California are now going to attempt to biologically engineer dragons. Pet dragons. You know, those big lizard-type things that breathe fire and chomp on knights like they're canned sausage? From The Economist:
Paolo Fril, chairman and chief scientific officer of GeneDupe, based in San Melito, California, is a man with a dream. That dream is a dragon in every home.
Genedupe's first project - Real Goldfish - sadly succumbed to the laws of physics when the gold in the fish's skin cells made them sink like rocks.
We at Agitprop wonder if your homeowners insurance will cover you when your new pet burns down your garage. Will your policy be cancelled if "Komodo" mistakes little Johnny next door for his midday snack?
