This is bad for a couple reasons.  First, the johns rarely get prosecuted. If any case was going to be an exception, this should have been it.  Second, we won’t have the delightfully vapid Ashley Alexandra Dupré to kick around anymore.

And no, I don’t think prostitution should be illegal (as George Carlin said - “Selling is legal, fucking is legal - why isn’t selling fucking legal!?”).  I just think Spitzer should pay a price for his staggering hypocrisy given that it was illegal when he did it.

The Next Generation

Apparently Jenna Welch Bush has married Henry Chase Hager, a graduate student, former aide to Karl Rove, and son of a former Virginia lieutenant governor. One can only assume that they spent their wedding night attempting to procreate, which they will no doubt manage to do at some point. They will provide us with our next generation of rulers - mass-murdering, pasty-white, barely-intelligible conservatives that will somehow get elected to something in some red retard state, thus launching them on a trajectory to national office and continuation of George W. Bush’s war against all of us (especially brown people).

Let's see - a new scandal where a Senatorial spouse paid a hundred fifty bucks for a blowjob - how does it rate?

TROY, MICHIGAN -- The co-founder and former CEO of the liberal-progressive Democracy Radio and husband of U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow was caught in February by a Troy police sting aimed at catching prostitutes, according to a police report.

Did he go to a Days Inn ?  Oh wait ... he met his hooker at a Residence Inn "near Big Beaver and Interstate 75."

Athans told police he stopped at the hotel to see a female friend he met online. After calling her on his cell phone, he was given a room number and met the woman at the door. Once inside he placed $150 on a counter top. The woman collected the money and performed oral sex on him, Athans told police.

Officers entered the room and found sex toys, condoms, $431 in cash and a laptop computer. They arrested the woman, identified as Alycia Lorraine Martin, and charged her with prostitution. She was released on a $100 bond and has been ordered to appear in Troy District Court for a pre-trial hearing April 22.
